What does sonic drilling convey?
It is an innovative concept and a clear breakthrough in the world of drilling. Sonic drilling has a great capacity for drilling in all types of soils and complex terrains (such as gravel or boluses); in addition, it allows for the recovery of 100% of the sample core in all types of terrain with a minimum degree of alteration.
Sonic drilling projects represent a real revolution in the extraction of disturbed soil samples, as we carry out drilling without using water. This fact prevents the dispersion of soluble contaminants and also offers ample guarantees in the verticality of the perforation, at maximum deviations with respect to the lower axis of Iº.
How is this done?
The sonic vibration produces a temporary reduction of soil friction, which facilitates its introduction into the drill head. This allows to gather up high quality samples at dry and saturated levels. In summary, we obtain high yields with fast drilling speeds in all sonic drilling jobs we carry out.
